The Magpie Cafe

Tiger

The Magpie Cafe has been visited through the years by many generations of my paternal family. Some lived in Yorkshire and went more regularly and others came from across the globe, including from the US. My maternal grandfather also came from Brazil to experience the famous Magpie Café. Wherever they came from, they all had a positive experience. We too had a positive experience, with none of us children able to finish the very generous portions of fish and chips that we ordered. Mummy too didn’t get to finish her grilled fish, even though she said it was beautiful. “It was super delicious but the service tinged the experience”. Daddy was the only one who finished his fish and chips which he said was delicious. When we paid the bill, we each got an old-fashioned mint with ‘The Magpie Cafe’ imprinted on them. All in all, it was a delightful experience and we will certainly pay many more returns.

The Magpie Café’s fish 🐠 and chips 🍟was the best food in the whole wide world! 🌍 It was soooo good. I loved the fish and chips because it was so tasty and crispy. At the end we got a yummy old fashioned rock candy.

Mummy

It was super delicious but the service tinged the experience.
